Re: The Holocaust
Hitler made 'em. He promised them world domination. Now, when I was a bit more immature, I would've done anything for that kind of control.

A lot of the things like that you may hear is just propaganda from the United States and the rest of Europe to increase the hate towards the Nazis and build morale among the country.

Re: The Holocaust
My English class is watching Freedom Writers, AMAZING Movie by the way, And it's about an English class who are all a part of different gangs relating to the color of their skin and origin. They get a new English teacher, and what she realizes is that that's not how life should be, so she makes it her goal that by the end of the year, these gangs will be friends. She gets pushed around, no one respects her, they start fights in her classroom, and they tell her she doesn't know anything about them.
She catches a Latino student passing around a picture of a black student in the same class, because he had it passed around the room and eventually it got to the student it was made of. It was a racist picture of him with enormous lips.
The Reason I'm telling you this is, the teacher got angry, and she referenced it to the holocaust and how they made pictures of Jews with big noses. She goes on for the entire class period, pointing out why the 'gang life' is wrong and how she wants to understand them, by the end of the class, the class starts to realize they're not too different from each other.
After a couple weeks, she takes them out to a Holocaust survivor museum, and the kids learn what it really means to be in a gang, Death and fear. They learn that their 'gangs' are just like the Holocaust, they're afraid to walk out of their houses because of the fear of being shot. They can't walk around without a gun, and they get shot at just because of their origin and skin color. At the end of the movie, everyone has become friends, the Cambodians, the African-Americans, the Latinos, and the one white kid, are all friends, looking out for each other and giving up the gang life.

Re: The Holocaust
Wow That such a touchy story. But Hitler did this only because he knew he could.

One time I told my family that I would like to be a different ethnicity, like asian, and they flipped out. I just wanted to see their lifestyle.

I wish the world didn't have labels, they mean absolutely nothing, but people take them so seriously

I was reading this book called "Daniel's Story" and he met this kid name Adam and he has his little sister with him (she was about 5 or 6). And the German gaurd took her away from him and them he flipped her around and broke her back with he knee and then just threw her. its pretty sad.
