Introduction

Okay, this is basically a thread that has all the things you need to know about the Egg Move Compilation Project.

That's what ethan06 posted in one of the topics, but it didn't seem clear enough to some people, so, I am renovating the subforum and fixing it up to function more properly.

Moving on, the Egg Move Compilation Project is an area on this forum for any of those breeders out there that don't want to have to go through trial and error constantly to figure out how a certain Pokemon gets a certain Egg Move. It is composed of three topics, the likes of which split up into three sections of the alphabet. The three sections are section A-I, section J-S, and section T-Z. In each of those topics, there is a post for each letter of the alphabet that the section covers. The letter that the post is covering would be located at the top of the post in bold and underlined form.

So, let's say you love the Pokemon Togekiss (which is being used as an example because of both the forum's theme and the fact that it's one of my favorite Pokemon), and want to know how to teach it the move Nasty Plot, so it can set up, sweep, and possibly Baton Pass to another Pokemon on your team. Well, all you would have to do is these simple steps:

1.) Think about the first stage of the Pokemon. For Togekiss' example, the first stage is Togepi. So, you'd go to the topic that has the letter "T" in it, because that's the first letter of the first stage's name.
2.) Now, you have to go to the post in the topic that has the first letter of the first stage's name in it, in this case, T.
3.) Hit Ctrl+F, and type in the name of the first stage.

From there, it would come up with something like this:

From there, you would simply hunt through the Egg Moves listed until you found the one you were looking for. If you can't find it, it's either not an Egg Move for that Pokemon, or we haven't figured out how to get it. If you can't find the Egg Move in there, and you are absolutely sure that it is an Egg Move for that Pokemon, notify a moderator or admin. If you know how to breed that Egg Move to that Pokemon, then tell how you do it when you notify them. If not, you have two choices: either research on your own how to get that egg move, or leave it up to the mods and admins to research.
