My team of hard hitting pokemon and stalling 'mon.Rate my team!

Idea
First up, Nidoking is a great sweeper,Physical and special.I was definately having him on my team.Nidoking is on the team.
cheers

Nidoking@Expert Belt
Evs:252 Sp atk,252 spd,6 Def
Nature:Modest
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Beam
~Flamethrower
~Focus Blast

Next up,a special supporter.I didn't want one that everyone knew it's use as a special supporter. One pokemon came to mind from the BL.Gallade.I'm using the set i posted in the Invent-a-set topic.

Gallade@Leftovers
Evs:252 Sp Def,122 Att,130 Spd,6 Hp.
Nature:Careful
~Hypnosis
~Will-o-wisp
~Psycho cut/Thunder wave
~Close combat/Stone edge

I need a Mixed/Physical sweeper,So I started to point a finger towards a dragon type, When Salamence came to mind.here we go!

Salamence@Life orb
Evs:252 Sp atk,252 Atk,6 Spd
Nature:Mild
~Draco meteor
~Brick break
~Earthquake
~Roost

A physical wall was missing so i went on serebii and found it:Steelix.2nd on the list for most defensive pokemon below Shuckle, who is incredibly slow so i opted steelix.

Steelix@Leftovers
Evs:252 Def,252 Att,6 Hp
Nature:Relaxed
~Substitute
~Gyro Ball
~Earthquake
~Explosion

Now then,I really needed a pokemon that was great in OU and got good stuff, so in came Tyranitar.

Tyranitar @Life Orb Tyranitar
Evs:252 Att,252 Spd,6 Def
Nature:Adamant
~Dragon dance
~Stone edge
~Crunch
~Fire punch

Finally, to clean up the mess,
Empoleon @Petaya Berry
Evs:252 Sp atk,252 Spd,6 def
Nature:Modest
~Surf
~Ice beam
~Grass knot
~Substitute

Now rate and praise or criticise!

There doesn't seem to really be a lead. You have no Pokemon to start off the match with. If you're thinking about using Nidoking as a lead, don't. Pretty much any lead will blow right through that, and some will possibly from there proceed to destroy the rest of the team.

Salamence weak. DDMence will set up, and then kill basically everything. Empoleon and TTar with Earthquake. Outspeeds and OHKO'es your Mence and Gallade with Dragon Claw. Kills off Steelix with Fire Blast. Nidoking dies to almost anything from it.

You're also MixApe weak. Empoleon and Tyranitar die to Close Combat, Steelix dies to Flamethrower, Salamence and Nidoking die to Hidden Power Ice, and Gallade dies to Earthquake.

Also, there doesn't seem to be much synergy to the team, or an all-around goal. You have no "main" sweeper, and it basically seems that you brought together a bunch of Pokemon and called it a team. A good team should have a goal of what to do, synergy between the sweepers and leads and such, and all-around, should be a team. The Pokemon should work together to win the battle, like a basketball team. The members of the team may dribble around and shoot some, but a lot of the good scoring comes after a pass.

Like Nidoking (don't use him as a lead though)
Gallade's nature is Careful
Gallade has EV being put down for defense
Salamence's nature is Mild with Earthquake and Brick Break
Steelix might work out. Might.
Like Tyranitar
Nice Empoleon.. hmmm

Your team has too many weaknesses. Most of them are weak to ground.
You say Nidoking is a physical and special sweeper, but all I see is special.
Gallade could be an anti-lead, but you need to redo his set for that.
Steelix might be fine. I am not sure on this, but... Might.. I would just replace this guy though. For Shuckle (you'll see why in the Overall)
Salamence is said to be a mix sweeper, but his nature contradicts that.
Salamence would be better off having 2 Special Attacks and only 1 Physical.
Tyranitar seems fine.
Empoleon seems fine.

Overall: I'm seeing a sandstorm team in the making. Tyranitar as the lead. You'll be surprise what Shuckle could do in a Sandstorm team and with his sp defense being raised by 50% is a great bonus. Try to get Gliscor in the team if you were trying for a Sandstorm theme. Get some Pokemon to cover your weaknesses and you're set. (In this case, Gallade is replaceable)

Edit: I see how Salamence is a mix sweeper. EV and mild is being put down for SP Atk, while Salamence is already a fine Physical attacker as it is.

Not both. They have roughly the same coverage (Brick Break hits Darks and Earthquake hits Poison. Earthquake hits Heatran better, Brick Break hits Tyranitar, Brick Break hits most Flying-types, Earthquake hits most Ghosts). Give it Hydro Pump as not many people expect it. Hang on, you don't have Fire Blast/Flamethrower, use a Fire move.

I agree, replace Earthquake with Fire Blast/Flamethrower. You'll need more SP Atk, cause of the stuff being invested to it also.
