General RMTs

This is the General RMT thread. Here you can unashamedly and openly brag about your team, either on Shoddy or in your game, competitive or for the story. So! There is a reason for this, and that reason is to save space in the forum. Why, I hear you ask? On Marriland, for example, the Diamond and Pearl subforum is constantly flooded with in-game RMTs. It is much easier to keep the place tidy and store all of the RMTs in one place. BE WARNED! If RMTs leak out into the main thingo, they will be deleted! Thankyou.

EMPTY SPACE (Thinking about Abomasnow)

Ok. I'm trying to stay away from OU, because OU Pokés make it too easy, and I like a challenge. I'm looking for a Fighting-type in particular (just-hatched Hasty Riolu waiting in the wings, but as I said, trying to ignore OU Pokés), perhaps Medicham or Toxicroak. An Ice-type would be good also, hence the mention of Abomasnow above. The hail wouldn't be too bad, because Clefairy has Magic Guard, and I could easily give it Blizzard.

<Ahem> Anywez, I am thinking Abomasnow, but not Wevile because I'm not a big fan of OUs. I do have an OU team on Shoddy (same username, the Smogon server in case you're interested) and several OUs on my team, but I like UU's variety.

I moved this here because HGSS is the newest game and it makes sense, but this is Pokemon General RMT's, so any game goes.

Put your starter on the shelf for a bit, and train your other Pokés. I hate reading RMTs where people have a level 60-something starter, and all of their other Pokés are below Lv40. No offense, but that's my advice.

I know, but I need my starter for the League, and I've been training via EXP Share, cause even 36 is too high leveled for the wild, since the only thing evenly matched is rock types and Golbats :/

I just started, going for Falkner now.

You should really train a Bellsprout or a Mareep, Bellsprout will help you later in the game, and this is the time you should catch one, and Mareep, if you train it a bit, will help you with Falkner

I swept the floor with Falkner, using an Onix from the Pokéwalker. Picked up a Slowpoke, training for Bugsy, Confusion will hopefully help me out with the cocoons. Slowpoke is Lv13 now, and Gastly and Quilava are Lv18/19/forgot which. I have a definite team which I am hoping to follow throughout the game.

What do you guys think?

This is OU, correct? Well, Espeon doesn't go that well in OU, thanks to superior Psychics and Gengar. Looking at the rest of your team, LeadTran would soak up your Ice weakness well and take up Stealth Rock, freeing up a spot on Skarmory for an attacking move. Or if you're set on an Eeveelution, Umbreon would complement Skarm nicely, helping with the general bulky nature of the team.
