it's upsetting how you can't get a surfing pikachu and teach it volt tackle through breeding since it's female, (i mean unless the gender is totally random then i don't mind) but at least flying pikachu can be bred and learn volt tackle

Also I didn't know Surf would be passed down either.

We could test it on the other event Pikachu, TCG Champion 07 Pikachu is male and has Surf.

Interesting to be able to find out though. Surf and Fly aren't HMs that can be learned by the HMs, so I'm not really sure...

That's not true, I recently bred a pidgey and it knew fly, same with my squirtle+surf.

10,000 steps and I keep running into Flail Pikachus. No Volt Tackle, Fly, or Surf Pikachus yet.
