He howled at the moon, desperately searching for his mate. His mate was an Absol. He didn't care if she had a giant scythe growing out of her head; she was too beautiful. It might be her beautiful blue eyes, beautiful greyish-black and white fur or even her long beautiful claws. Either way, she was gorgeous. He came to a clearing with some moonlight shining. Her fur was glowing but she appeared to be sleeping. He smiled and sighed happily while walking up to her. She had heard him and she woke up. She barked happily. "There you are; I've been waiting for you."

"I've been looking for you all night and I couldn't smell you either." He knew he couldn't find her because she always covered over her own scent using grass and flowers. She was good about it too, because he could barely smell her. He sniffed her beautiful fur happily and sighed. "You smell beautiful… you smell like the roses that grow in the fields."

"Thank you…," she barked happily. He smiled as a rejoinder. The two looked up at the sky. They looked at the moon and the stars. They could see Canis Major, the Big Dog. It was their favourite star because it symbolised their love for each other.

The love that would last for the rest of their life…
