Just as I trained my very first Salamence, I get word that it has moved up to Ubers.
I don't generally play with Ubers, and this cripples my entire team.
How fortunate for me D:

How do you guys feel about this?

Ah well. Apparently Salamence makes a solid offensive core when paired with Rayquaza. Maybe you could try an Ubers team?

Yeah I know, Salamence and Rayquaza do make excellent "Dance Partners".
But Still, I liked it better when it was OU but could be used in Ubers.
I wonder how all the Salamence-user's out there feel about this. D:
And i refuse to use Ubers, I'd rather win with Skill than with an overpowered team. :3

Even against other overpowered teams? There is a bit of strategy in there, and there's a whole bunch of UU and NU Pokémon that work a treat in Ubers (Ariados, Ludicolo, Jumpluff). I'll answer questions if needs be. :3

I doubt kingdra would make it, its just a dumbed down version of Palkia, it doesnt have a place in UBERS

The placing of a Pokemon in Ubers isn't determined by how well the Pokemon does in Ubers, it's determined by how well it plays in OU.

I say good riddance to Salamence. It's better than Garchomp in my opinion, being able to Dragon Dance over Swords Dance and raise it's Speed along with it's Attack. The only thing that Garchomp has over Salamence is its slightly higher bulk. But really, the fact of the matter is, after Mence gets up a Dragon Dance or two, it won't be taking very many hits at all, since it outspeeds everything in sight and can OHKO most things that don't resist it.

Also, I don't feel there's much of a reason to fret about Kingdra moving into Ubers. Yes, it is a great Pokemon, especially in rain, which is common in Ubers. But, as long as rain stays uncommon in OU, it won't become incredibly powerful. And unless they take Hippowdon and Tyranitar into Ubers, rain won't be getting very popular any time soon.

i reeeally can't stand salamence, not because of anything other then the fact that lance's second time uses a salemence, my dilema, i was going to destory the E4 with a single scizor no healing items except for leftovers, and i swept the floor with the first four, then came lance and his mence, 1 flamethrower knocked me out... so i must say mence is a welcomed loss in ou to me

Umm, but you know since Kingdra is the same typing as Palkia, everyone would rather take the higher stats, true that its place in the uber tier doesnt matter but it must have some potential, like mence and his role as a dance partner.

I think Breloom will be next: Spore is just too scrub good for OU, and Smeargle and Parasect are a bit lacking in terms of stats, especially Smeargle... I like Parasect though.

I don't think Breloom will be headed for Ubers anytime soon. Scarf Heatran can switch in after a KO, and easily kill it with Lava Plume or Fire Blast. Same with Ape.

Heatran might be next, but due to the over-abundance of Earthquake Users in Ubers, I don't see it happening for a while.

Once again, the placement of a Pokemon in Ubers isn't based on how well it plays in Ubers, but on how well it plays in OU.

But, for once, I actually agree about something going into Ubers. Heatran is basically the anti-metagame Pokemon, being able to take out Scizor, Lucario, Machamp, and Dragonite easily with the Scarf set.

It failed just on it's own. Ask TGF. I was stupid and tried to put him to sleep after my Togekiss paralyzed him... numerous times... on accident... and tried to toxicate his Bronzong a few times.... Yeah I'm not that bright Razz

But It has Failed just a few times for no reason.
