Fake rumors

It seems like back in the R/B/Y days, there were a lot more of these strange rumors going around, like catching pikablu, mew under a truck, and talking to professor oak 100 times and he'll get annoyed and steal your pokemon. Of course, none of them worked, but they were pretty amusing.

What are some of the funny things you've heard of?

1) Dark Professor Oak.. beat the Elite Four 500 times and Professor Oak will say "I'm tired of you beating the Elite Four" then he will challenge you and he'll have all the pokemon and they are catchable.

2) SS Anne comes back if you beat the Elite Four 365 times.

3) The grass to the side of Pallet Town contains rare pokemon and mew

4) Get the magikarp from the magikarp guy, name it MEW, put it in the day care, make it level 50 times, get it back and it'll be a mew.

5) Chansey's egg is togepi.

(3)Missingno at cinnabar

(4)Missingno at the guy who lets you to viridian forest

1) After you beat the elite four, Save your game and start a new one then go to viridian forest and some random fat guy will escort you out of the forest.

2) Getting rayquaza on R/B/Y and having its own music.

3) Getting the master ball which is equipped to mewtwo.

Here's one that I just remembered hearing from gamefaqs a long time ago

In the intro screen, wait for Vaporeon to show up, when he does press A. When you start your game you will have 999 rare candies, 999 Masterballs, and all 151 Pokemon.

Another one I heard is that if you beat the Elite Four 100 times and talk to Bill, he'll let you into his garden where you can catch mew and togepi.

I remember Bill's Garden, but I heard you could catch more Eevees and the 1st Gen Eeveelutions

I remember hearing about this thing called the Mist Stone, and you can supposedly find it around where Mewtwo was if you look all over, or something. It's supposed to evolve Mewtwo into Mew or Mewthree or something.

I also saw a gameshark code that turns a fire stone in your bag into a mist stone, but all it really did was change the letters of fire, and it still worked like a fire stone. xD

never heard of the mew under the truck one, i've heard of the fat guy under the truck and if you help him he turns into missingno

Mew at Nugget Bridge is real.
I heard about challenging Oak after you beat the Pokemon League 999 times.
Also heard about the Mew Orb thing.
