when i'm bored

i make sprites... yeah..

here is a sprite of a couple dragons... see if you can catch them all.. even the recolour is a dragon... see i'm so bored i use the oddly spelled version of color


P.S anyone know how to make it a clear background... saving it as a png doesn't work when uploading to photobucket

What program are you using? If you're using Photoshop or GIMP or something like that, first make sure your layer has an alpha channel, then use a fuzzy select tool with 0 or 1 threshold and select all the white parts, then delete, save as png, tada! You could use color select instead of fuzzy select, but then you might lose the white colors on your sprite.

On Paint, in the IMAGE tab, I think, make sure Draw Opaque is checked off and white is your secondary color, then save as PNG and that should work.

"Colour" is not an odd spelling, it's the unlazy spelling often adopted by the English and the Australians (in this case, me). >_>

I spell color as "Colour" and I'm a lazy american D:

There are some exceptions - and besides, you can't be lazy to uphold an entire forum as well as continually add stuff to it.

I'm Canadien. We also spell Favorite as Favourite sometimes, but not to get off topic here, You can't upload it to Photobucket and it magically takes off the white BG.

I wanna say something about the off topic part. (cause my teachers bugged me about it, when I wrote papers)
Words that ending in -our are from Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, parts of the Philippines, and other countries that I can't remember (english speaking countries). While the US would end the same words (with a few exceptions) with -or.

I'll just say this since this is getting long. One is from Old French, another from Old Latin. Semi war broke out, I chose what I thought was right (-our). The teacher left my spelling alone after that essay.

Some other stuff with words ending with -re (theatre) and ending with -er (theater) is best for next time.


Now for the other part of the topic: Rayquaza, Salamence, Giratina. Did I name them all?

I have Mac, and the traditional MS Paint doesn't work on Mac... I've gt an imitation for Mac, but it doesn't have the transparent background thing that's vital for spriting. Not to mention Photobucket really hates me, so I can only display my best one in my avatar. There. That's my contribution. My avatar.

Well i thought that the new windows 7 thing didn't have transparent backgrounds... but it was well hidden.. so it could be for that too... windows 7 makes things more complicated... what does paint look like for you ?

It's called Paintbrush, and it's basically imitation Paint for Macs. It doesn't work to perfection (the eyedropper tool copies the colour several shades lighter, NO transparent background option), but it does it's job, mostly.

Oh, well that kinda sucks then, mac's lack so much, that's why i can't stand them

The inside of Giratina's chest plate reminds me of Nosepass or Metagross..
